Business Aviator Advanced Inventory Feature Summary
Advanced Inventory Feature Summary
Business Aviator's Inventory provides sophisticated functionality with professional yet easy-to-use interfaces and reporting. Business Aviator aims to provide an inventory tool that fits with your current business processes instead of requiring you to change your processes to adapt to a software package.
What sets Business Aviator apart from other inventory products?
- The ability to manage your inventory costing method whether it's FIFO or Average Cost. We don't sacrifice accuracy in accounting for additional unused features and our users won't either.
- Support for a multi-tier fully user-definable grouping and/or categorization mechanism referred to as Item Codes. The Item Code mechanism offers virtually limitless flexibility and allows you, the user, to "drill-down" your inventory by defining as broad or narrow a grouping and/or categorization as you see fit. This also provides the flexibility of defining special order items (or to-order items like pizza) on-the-fly during order entry.
- Virtually limitless price type definitions that can be associated with item inventory. A price type can be defined via a formula using various available expressions. The Price types can be utilized in various ways to manage inventory prices and execute price changes. Because the type is defined by a formula, the sky is no limit.
- Custom pricing categories that allow you to define a custom price for any or all of your items. This is based on a formula you specify or flat pricing if you desire. These categories can be assigned to your customers and provides customer-specific pricing schemes.
- An advanced assembly item interface that provides support for unlimited Sub-Assemblies, building and breaking of Assemblies, and the addition of non-inventory items to represent additional costs associated with building.
Inventory Management for Multiple Locations
Business Aviator also supports the management of multiple locations even if it's integrated with an accounting system that does not support multiple locations. You can manage inventory, sales, and purchasing for multiple locations either at the locations themselves or from a single location if you desire. The interface to set and switch locations is simple, and the power this yields from a reporting standpoint is remarkable.
Seamless Accounting Integration
Business Aviator currently supports Sage Peachtree Accounting and Intuit QuickBooks; and can be integrated with potentially any accounting system by design. For other systems, a separate module can be licensed that runs independent from Business Aviator to keep the accounting up-to-date as Business Aviator is used for the Inventory management, sales and purchasing features.
