Business Aviator's handheld scanner software is now available! This software can be installed on
a windows CE based handheld device that supports a wireless
network connection.
The new Business Aviator handheld scanning software provides the means to lookup item inventory,
assign and change bins and set upc codes all on a handheld scanner. Almost any report in Business Aviator
can be customized to include Bar Codes so integration with a handheld scanner is a perfect fit. As an example,
an item list can be modified to include printed bar codes which results in easy initial assignment of product UPC's by simply scanning them.

The handheld scanning software provides the means to simply scan a purchase order and
receive items against the purchase order. This is ideal for large warehouses or in situations
where the receivers don't need to access the Business Aviator application, but you still want
them to have the ability receive shipments into the application.
Purchase order reports can be customized to include Bar Codes for the PO Number and Item Number's,
so receiving only has to scan the bar codes on the purchase order into the application to receive
item quantities against the order.
Additionally, the handheld software provides the ability to scan a sales order and
mark items as shipped. This can streamline the shipping of products by giving warehouse
personelle the means to tag items that are being shipped using the scanner.
Sales order reports can also be customized to include Bar Codes for the SO Number and Item Number's,
so shipping only has to scan the bar codes on the sales order using the handheld scanner to mark items
as shipped.
