The purchase promotions feature in Business Aviator provides the means to:

• Define a purchase promotion name with a start date and end date.
• Add any number of items to the purchase promotion.
• Use the builtin formula editor to assign a formula to an item or items.
• The formula can define purchase promotion prices as percents of cost, price or margin, or used to apply flat discounts to the cost.
• Once a purchase promotion has been defined, it can be recalled on the Purchase Order screen by pressing the F-10 key.
• During purchase order creation, recalling the current purchase promotions automatically displays the items on promotion for the vendor selected on the purchase order. The items can simply be double- clicked to add them to the purchase order.

Business Aviator's 1.17 version introduces purchase promotion features that can be used to complement the inventory control software. Future versions will be introducing the ability to define sales promotions as well that can be used on sales orders to compliment the already-spectacular array of category pricing and price level options available.
