Item Search Screen

The item search screen provides access to your stock inventory and non-stock inventory items.

Manage Your Items

Access the item screen to update item-specific information, view stock at all locations, assign category codes, perform inventory adjustments or report on sales and purchase history.

Define Advanced Item Information

Advanced item information can be assigned to an item. This includes information such as the item's stock unit of measure, low stock level, and more detailed warehouse information, line item details and applicable units of measure.

Define Item Cost & Pricing

Establish the item's cost for each vendor that provides the item. Define your prices based on list or by a price type you've defined with the Business Aviator Inventory formula editor.

Define Advanced Price Information

Advanced price information can be assigned to an item. This includes information such as the sales unit of measure, price markups and unlimited price categories that can then be assigned to specific customers.

Define or Assign Price Levels

Any number of price levels can be defined using the Business Aviator Inventory formula editor. These price levels can then be either assigned to items at any time, or recalled and applied during sales time directly from the quote or order.

Define Custom Category Codes

Define item categories with custom sub-categories and even define the options available within the sub-category.

Define Item Pricing Categories

Define unlimited item pricing categories and assign any or all of your items a special price using the formula editor. You can then apply a specific pricing category to your customers, or even take this to the next level and establish custom price books!

Quickly Find Items

An Item QuickFind feature in Business Aviator provides a simple interface to lookup items by number, category code, vendor, or even by typing just part of the item's description.

Inquire about an Item anywhere

Perform an Item Inquiry from anywhere in Business Aviator by pressing Ctrl+I. This provides immediate access to critical item information including stock at all locations, pricing and open purchase orders incoming (which users can attach-to on sales orders).

The customer find screen provides swift access to your customers via search criteria such as customer name, phone, address, city, state, and zip code. You can also list all of your customers quickly, even if you have tens of thousands.

Manage Your Customers

Access the customer management screen to update customer information, add new customers, assign pricing categories, and report on sales and returns history.

Add Customer Notes

Record additional notes about customers, vendors, on sales, on purchase orders and more. The notes are stored for internal use and can contain a lot of information.

Sales Order Screen

Create sales orders from quotes, or enter them without a quote. Again, the efficient QuickFind search feature can aid to create and complete an order in minutes. A Sales Order can be turned into an invoice or sales receipt in a single click; they can also be used to automatically generate purchase orders for items that are not in stock.

Create sales invoices from orders, or enter them without an order. If you're utilizing the full potential of Sales Orders in Business Aviator, invoicing can be reduced to mere minutes in your workday.

Create purchase orders quickly by using the QuickFind feature to list items offered by a vendor and immediately see inventory. Also, some powerful inventory buyer reports provide purchasing analysis tools to aid in buying inventory.

Receiving Purchase Orders

You can receive items on purchase orders and receive the bill at a later date. You can also automatically generate backorders from a purchase order. Used in conjunction with the Business Aviator handheld software, you can receive items against purchase orders without needing to even use the computer.
