The version 1.20 update to Business Aviator introduces a myriad of useful features. Some of these features can only be found in extremely expensive inventory software and they’re all included for maintenance subscribers!
Feature Additions in Business Aviator v1.20
Added a Customer QuickFind selection screen. This will be accessible on the sales forms for quickly looking up customers.
Added the Sales Order Multi-location sales form that provides the ability to sell from multiple locations on the same sales order. Item Quantity Reservations are automatically placed by the sales order requesting items from the remote locations.
Added auto-generation of numbers to the customer and vendor screens. When no number is assigned and a name is input for a new customer or new vendor, a number will be automatically generated. This number does not have to be used and can still be changed to anything.
Added the ability to list items by selecting the vendor in the Item QuickFind screen.
Added the ability to search for items on the item screen and in the QuickFind screen by specifying any part of the item sales description.
Added a Line Item Detail tab to the Item Advanced screen intended to record additional information that should be displayed below the line item description of an item. This could be any vendor-required information like "Color", "Size", etc.
Provided a mechanism on the new multi-location sales order to commit lines from an open purchase orders to a sales order.
Added the ability to recall inventory information from all locations from any transaction document after an item is added by pressing F11.
Added the ability to generate purchase orders from a sales order. Multiple purchase orders are generated to be sent to each vendor from the options menu on a sales order.
Included a 'Backorder Report' that will display all items that are on backorder and do not have a quantity committed to purchase order.
Added a report that shows all pending transfers at the logged in location along with information about the sales order that generated the transfer(s).
Added received items by date report.
Added a 'Sales Orders Written by Rep' report that shows the sales orders that were written by a specified rep on a specific date (or range). The costs in this report use last landed cost (because the actual inventory selling cost is unknown until the order is invoiced).
Added a customer sales orders open report accessible from the customer screen.
