Business Aviator Version 3.04 – 3.06 Full Update Notes (Released on 4/4/2008)

The version 3.04, 3.05 and 3.06 updates to Business Aviator introduce support for new features including the Business Aviator for osCommerce e-commerce integration, so you can now integrate with a website, and the Business Aviator for Peachtree integration, so users now have a choice to integrate with either Peachtree Accounting or QuickBooks!

The updates also include the usual tweaks, report additions and resolutions.

Feature Additions in Business Aviator v3.04

• Updated location setup screen to enable the "New Location" button; it does essentially the same thing as the save button. Previously new locations could be created with the "Save" button, but the new location button being disabled was confusing.
• Made some minor updates to the interface and category creation in the TxnAgent for osCommerce.
• Added a new Customer Sales Profitability report in the Reports -> Sales menu. It shows a company-wide summary not broken-up by sales rep like the other customer sales profitability report.
• Added the ability to enable viewing Nail-Down and damaged quantities from the item detail screen, advanced item screen, and line item detail screen.
• Added enhanced navigation options to the flowchart navigation, clicking on the items icon and purchase order or sales order icon will now grant additional options.
• Added the ability to open sales invoices and sales receipts in read-only mode. Previously the entire document was not re-loadable once created.

Feature Additions in Business Aviator v3.05

• Added additional report procedures for calculating commissions by item category code.
• Updated all reports to include page number in the upper-right of the reports.
• Added the Transaction Agent for Peachtree Accounting! Business Aviator users now have an option to integrate with Peachtree or QuickBooks for accounting!

• Updated sales saving to record the line item tax code assigned so this can be used by the Peachtree integration.

• Updated location screen to make the address automatically open larger screen for easier entry.

Feature Additions in Business Aviator v3.06

• Added additional commission-by-category stored procedures for credits, sales orders and credit orders.
• Updated Peachtree TxnAgent to terminate if transactions continuously fail, and include an informative message to guide users to correcting the issue.
• Update transfers by date report to separate into pages for each location.
• Added ability to enable viewing Nail-Downs and damaged quantities on location quantity selection presented during multi-location sales order.
• Implemented combined sales and credits grand-total on the customer profitability summary report.
• Updated purchase order item labels report to print a label for each item quantity.
• Added the ability to de-activate a Vendor. Previously the checkbox was disabled.
• Updated vendor and customer de-activation to provide a message if the vendor or customer has an open order in the system - this prevents de-activation.
