Version 3.17 Update
Business Aviator Version 3.17 Full Update Notes (Released 1/5/2009)
This update was focused on providing fixes to known issues and adding features that were highly requested throughout the 2008 calendar year. Thanks for a great year and keep an eye out for our version 4.0 in 2009!
- Added the capability to define which specific transactions will run with the Peachtree Transaction Agent, so users can now enable/disable transactions.
- Updated Inventory Count Screen to include a checkbox for locking items. Users will not be prompted to lock items they're adjusting unless that checkbox is checked. This should prevent users from accidentally locking inventory items, which resulted in not being able to use those items until they're unlocked.
- Added the means to tag items on a Sales Quote to be sent to a Sales Order. You can now “Check/Uncheck” the boxes of each line item on a Sales Quote to send only the items you want to the Sales Order or Invoice.
- Added the "Item Sales Description" to the "Item Serial Detail" screen components list.
- Added the ability to Export any report in Business Aviator as HTML.
- Added a new Serial Number Import Routine that support text (.csv) importing.
- Added a new Serial Number Import Routine that supports XML import to Add/Update Serial Numbers.
- Added the ability to include serial numbers in the Sales Order import.
- Updated Sales Order import to require less fields, line_desc and line_rate can now be ignored and the current rate and description for the item number will be substituted.
- Updated Sales Order Import to automatically calculate Tax, Total and Subtotal so these can never be incorrect.
- Removed cost, profit and margin from the "Item Sales Analysis" report, so the report can be used to analyze sales of items without cost showing.
- Added an "Item Profit Analysis" report that duplicates the original "Item Sales Analysis" report and also includes “Grand Totals”.
- Updated "Purchase Return" to provide the means to create a Purchase Return without specifying the original Purchase Order.
- Added a new "Require Negative Amount" checkbox in the Non-Inventory Item screen. This can be checked to require the Non-Inventory item to be negative on Sales.
- Added Transaction Toolbar to Assembly Item screen. Assembly Items can now have the non-component information edited & saved just like inventory items. The "Build" and "Break" interfaces are now accessible in the "Options" section of the Toolbar.
- Added a "View" menu option to "List All Non-Commissionable Items" on the Item Search screen so it's easy to see which items are marked as non-commissionable.
