Version 4.00 Update

Feature Additions in Business Aviator v4.00 (Released 6/17/2009)

Version 4.0 of Business Aviator introduces all new interface updates! Additionally, we have improved usability, speed, integration capabilities, and improved the overall user experience within Business Aviator. Please let us know what you think of the new version!

  • Updated flowchart image for easier application use, navigation, and more symbolic images.
  • Added the new 4.0 Sidebar! Instead of clicking buttons and navigating to the top of the screen to click the options available, users can now click one of the Outlook-style buttons on the left-hand side and then simply click the options available directly above the buttons.
  • Added a new Transaction Toolbar to all screens in Business Aviator! You can now access the extended powerful features available to each screen all within this new toolbar.
  • Updated forms and program coloring to a more modern theme. You can change the colors back if you want, by using the new “User Settings” in configuration.
  • Added a new Details Icon on Lists (like the Line Items list) in the upper-right corner. Users can now easily access the additional options available to each list by simply clicking this icon, instead of having to right-click everything to find hidden features.
  • Added the capability to receive items and costs at the same time from the “Save” option on the Receiving Screen.
  • Updated the capability of the receiving screens “Save” button, so it “knows” to receive either Items or Costs when clicked, based on the information in the receiving screen. So now all you have to do is click “Save” in this screen.
  • Added the capability to record state name without limiting the field to only a few characters.
  • Updated Transaction Agent for Peachtree® to automatically create cash receipts that are applied to the Sales Receipts upon import into Peachtree Accounting, and to create a cash receipt for Sales Order deposits.
  • Updated the Transaction Agent to add Peachtree 2010 support! Download this new transaction agent when you plan to upgrade.
  • Added the capability to assign a “Bill Date” in the receiving screen, so the bill that gets sent to Accounting when receiving costs can be dated (and have terms applied) as needed.
  • Added a new “Contact” field to the Vendor screen.
  • Added a new feature to mark Nailed-down or Damaged items serial numbers as specifically nailed down or damaged.
  • Added the capability to import whether or not a serial number is nailed down or damaged.
  • Added the Transfer Reference Report, so a Reference Number can be assigned to transfers, and a report can be generated that contains all transfers with that reference number.
  • Added the Sales Order Shipping by Required Date Report, which provides the means to view a shipping report that is specific to the “Req Date” assigned to Line Items.
  • Added Lot Number sorting to the Lots screen so they're now displayed in Ascending Order when choosing from Lots.
  • Updated Fonts to make it easier to notice the Lot Number Quantity available - so users can simply “arrow-through” lot numbers to find a sufficient quantity from which to sell.
  • Updated the Lot/Serial screen for items that require Lot Numbers or Serial Numbers, so navigating to the “General” tab and clicking “Close” won't allow the line item to be added without Lots or Serials. Instead, the user is prompted to remove the item from the order.
  • Included a new “UPS View”, which can be used to get UPS® specific formatted invoice information.
  • Added new “Find” features to the search screen transaction toolbars.
  • Added print screen capability to search screens and customer screen.
  • Additional support for extended address assignment to customers and vendors. You can now click the “more” icon to access extra lines for addresses.
